Year 11 Students Leavers Ceremony/Record of Achievement

It is almost time to say goodbye to our Year 11 leavers as their last weeks in school come to an end. Peregrinate hosted an event to celebrate a new era for our Year 11 Learners and to present them with their own individual Record of Achievement Folders. These contained a record of all of their education whilst with us at Peregrinate School and included their own certificates, awards and qualifications they have all worked so hard to achieve. The folder will also be a very useful tool to take to interviews and proof of their qualifications gained.

One student, William, was awarded a special prize as Liverpool City Councils AEP Student of the Year Certificate. Our Headteacher said that this was a very well-deserved recognition for William as throughout his whole time with us he had not created a single problem for staff or fellow learners and that he had worked hard every day to achieve his goals. William has an apprenticeship lined up within the construction industry. In an effort to support Will and his family even further Peregrinate School is currently working closely with Will to obtain his next level qualifications in Maths and English. This will save him a whole year at college during his apprenticeship.

Our Headteacher welcomed learners and parents to the event and spoke regarding what a hugely successful two years this had been for all Learners and how each learner would be missed at the School. Each learner will leave us with at least five qualifications many at different levels of achievement including Maths, English, Retail Knowledge, Hair & Beauty, Construction & Horticulture, Business Admin, ICT.

During her presentation she read out two very relevant poems:
