Data Protection at Peregrinate School

On Friday 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, became law in the UK. The purpose of this new regulation is to protect people in our modern information age. GDPR gives more control to individuals and more responsibilities to organisations which collect and hold personal data. As a school we collect data and must therefore comply with this new legislation.

Peregrinate School takes the protection of data very seriously and has been working hard to ensure that the new legislation is met. To assist us with this we have used the guidelines provided by GDPR in Schools (GDPRis). They have provided a FREE leaflet GDPR Parent Information Leaflet which can be found here: GDPR Parent Information Leaflet . This gives all the information that parents will need around Peregrinate School and the data we hold on your child.
