Adele Browne

Tutor, Retail Lead

Adele joined Peregrinate School in October 2017 and has added a wide range of skills and experience.

Adele’s background has been in insurance and retail where she worked for two very large household name companies. Both roles allowed Adele to enable her passion for meeting new people and helping them.

When her eldest child started school in September 2009 Adele stood for school governor, a position she still holds today and last year was made Chair of Governors, which is a huge responsibility but one which she relishes. Adele also holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Adele believes every child matters and that they deserve the right to achieve their own individual goals educationally. As part of her role as a school Governor Adele has got to know learners by taking time to listen and get to know the individuals. This is something that attracted her to Peregrinate School as her ethos is very much the ethos we are committed to for young people at Peregrinate School. Adele’s firmly believes Nelson Mandela when he said… “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”

Adele continues on her personal development program whilst at Peregrinate School and is keen to obtain training and qualifications which will help her enhance her knowledge and skills in order to assist our learners further.
