Peregrinate COVID-19 Arrangements

Peregrinate School have been monitoring on a daily basis the very latest Government, Department of Education and National Health Service advice regarding COVID-19 (Corona Virus). It has become clear that schools may be required to close in the coming weeks to help isolate the virus. With this in mind Peregrinate School have mobilised a bespoke home schooling kit specifically designed for each individual Learner. This will include practical paperwork and online learning  which will be supported by staff by telephone, webinars, online tutoring and email. Should schools be temporarily closed, we have prepared packs for each learner specifically covering their own individual curriculum needs and these have already been handed to learners and kept at home. If schools are closed, our learners can start work immediately from home. Progress will be monitored and additional work will be provided by email/online if required. Each of our learners will continue with their own curriculum allowing them to continue progressing throughout the academic year for however long the closures are enforced. Peregrinate School already offers a very successful home schooling program which has provided us with the confidence that other learners will fit into this new learning style quite easily.

Letters have been sent to all parents/carers explaining the process and providing the relevant contact details for support and extra work together with the latest Department of Education information and advice around COVID 19.

The full letter can be read in our Letters from the Headteacher page on this website. Click here to read the full letter.
