Peregrinate Provides Behaviour Management Training
Peregrinate School has provided Behaviour Management Training to all staff and local schools and councils staff who look after students. We employed a leading Educational Consultant, Jason Bangbala.
Jason Bangbala is a leading Educational Consultant, delivering his unique style of training to organisations across the UK. As well as training courses and consultancy work, he continues to be an active classroom practitioner.
His core areas of training are Behaviour Management, Circle Time, Coaching and Structured Play. His training programmes are tailored to reach a wide range of staff in education. He has delivered training at Headteacher and Deputy Head Conferences, LEA AST and NQT programmes, sessions for Learning Support staff, Learning Mentors, Lunchtime Organisers and non-teaching staff, PGCE Students and GTP trainees and college tutors. His training has even extended into H M Youth Offenders Institutions.
Before setting up his own training and consultancy business Jason was a highly successful classroom teacher and Senior Manager in Secondary Education. His teaching experience has been based on working in challenging areas, challenging schools and with challenging pupils.
All the training courses are practical, interactive and highly engaging. Some of the most commonly used words or phrases from people who have experienced Jason’s training include: Inspirational, realistic and motivating.
Our Headteacher, Angela, has already completed a couple of courses hosted by Jason and was inspired each time at the content and opportunities the courses provided for people working with young people in the educational sector.
We had intended to run this course last year but due to COVID restrictions had to postpone it until MAY 2021.
Peregrinate runs a continuous improvement program and are constantly striving to deliver advancements in our total service delivery. Part of this continuous improvement program involves regular training for our staff covering a wide range of topics. Even during COVID we were able to deliver; First Aid, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Administration, Automated Attendance Registers and now Behaviour Management.
We invited local schools and councils to experience this training and to see just how serious Peregrinate School takes its responsibilities for the young people placed in their care. Representatives from several local schools and three councils took part.
All delegates were enthused by taking part and a number of schools and councils said that they were going to book the training for their own front-line staff.
Delegates agreed that they felt empowered to deliver a new strategy to manage challenging behaviour at school and already witnessed the training being utilised both in and out of the classroom.
