Peregrinate Offers Qualifications in Hair & Beauty

Since moving to our new premises management and staff have been working hard to enhance our portfolio of qualifications we can offer to our learners. We have opened a fully functional Hair & Beauty Studio which allows us to deliver a further vocational qualification for our students. We have a dedicated highly experienced and motivated Hair & Beauty Lecturer who has already worked with previous learners, helping them gain qualifications, work-placements and openings into apprenticeships within the Hair & Beauty industry.

Learners will be taught how to correctly determine hair types, wash hair, massage the scalp and the approved treatments for all hair types and styling. In addition they will also receive training in makeup techniques, eyebrows and eye lashes as well as manicure treatments and nail art in our own nail studio. Students will also learn how to follow good Health & Safety practices whilst in the salon as well as salon reception duties and effective client care and communication in the beauty related industry. Clearly good personal cleanliness and presentation is essential to those working within the industry therefore maintaining personal health and well-being and appropriate dress sense is also taught.
